Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data RivalFeed collects, why, and what you can do about it. The controller is DVB Holdings LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States (Wyoming Secretary of State filing ID 2025-001660847). 1. What we collect
- Account data — name, email address and sign-in identifiers. If you sign in with Google, we receive only your name, email address and profile picture.
- Billing data — plan, subscription status and billing history. We do not store card details.
- Service data — the YouTube channels you monitor, your settings, including alert settings, the team members you invite, the alerts we've sent you, and usage counts against your plan allowance.
- Email requests — the email address you give on a public rivals page, and which page you asked about.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, logs and error reports.
- Usage data — the pages you visit and where you came from. When you are signed in, also how you use the app, including session recordings, and whether you open our emails.
We do not use advertising trackers and we do not sell personal data.
2. Content we process
We analyze publicly available videos, including what is said in them, from the channels our customers monitor. Transcripts are shown only to signed-in users and never published. Your list of monitored channels is never shared with other customers.
We process the speech of people who appear in these videos on the basis of our and our customers’ legitimate interest in analyzing publicly available content. Channel owners can opt out at any time (section 11).
3. YouTube API Services
RivalFeed uses YouTube API Services to read public channel and video information, such as titles, thumbnails and view counts, and shows it to you. We do not access anyone’s YouTube account or any private YouTube data. Google’s handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy, and use of YouTube is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service.
4. Why we process it, and on what basis
- To provide the Service — performance of our contract with you.
- To take payment and prevent fraud — contract and legitimate interests.
- To secure and improve the Service — legitimate interests in operating a reliable, abuse-free product.
- To send service email — contract, for account, billing, digest and alert messages, and the email you ask for on a public rivals page.
- To send news about RivalFeed — legitimate interests, for occasional emails about our own features. You can opt out at any time via the unsubscribe link in every message. We never send marketing on behalf of anyone else.
- To meet legal obligations — for example tax and accounting records.
5. Who we share it with
We use the following categories of processor. Each receives only what it needs, under a data processing agreement.
- Authentication and account management
- Payment processing and invoicing
- Application and database hosting
- Transcription and AI analysis
- Email delivery
- Error monitoring
- Product analytics
A current list of named subprocessors is available on request from privacy@rivalfeed.io. We are established in the United States. Where we process the data of people in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, those transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
6. How long we keep it
- Account and service data — for as long as your account exists, including after a trial or subscription ends, until you delete it.
- After account deletion — erased or anonymized within 30 days, except records we must retain by law (for example invoices, typically seven years).
- Public channel and video data, transcripts and analysis — for as long as the Service uses them, or until the channel owner asks us to delete them (section 11).
- An email address given on a public rivals page, without an account — deleted 30 days after we send that email.
- Server logs — typically 30 days.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export or restrict processing of your personal data, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to withdraw consent. Exercise any of these by emailing privacy@rivalfeed.io; we respond within one month. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
If you are in the EEA or UK and believe we have handled your data improperly, you may lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority in your country of residence or workplace.
8. Cookies
We use cookies that are strictly necessary to operate the Service, such as keeping you signed in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Our analytics stores an identifier in your browser. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask first. You can change your choice under Cookie settings at the bottom of the page. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, we don't collect usage data.
9. Security
Data is encrypted in transit and access to it is restricted. We will notify you and any relevant authority of a personal data breach where the law requires it.
10. Children
The Service is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Content owners
If you own a YouTube channel and do not want it processed, email support@rivalfeed.io. We will stop processing it and delete what we hold for it. People who appear in videos can also exercise the rights in section 7. Copyright concerns can be sent to dmca@rivalfeed.io.
12. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified by email or in-product before they take effect.
