Questions
- What’s an outlier?
- A video with at least twice its channel’s median views. The median comes from the channel’s last 50 uploads, with Shorts and long-form counted separately.
- How does the free trial work?
- 14 days on 3 rivals, no card, rival alerts included. When it ends, your feed turns read-only until you pick a plan.
- How fast are alerts?
- Three times a day: 11:00, 15:00 and 19:00 your time. A breakout can show up from about 12 hours after the upload.
- Does it work for small channels?
- Yes. Each channel is measured against its own median, so 8,000 views on a channel that usually gets 2,000 is a 4x outlier.
- How do you know which version they kept?
- When a test ends, the video shows one version, picked by YouTube or by the creator. We see which one.
- Do ads count as outliers?
- No. Videos with paid views are left out, so an ad campaign doesn’t look like a hit.
